My earliest artistic endeavors consisted of Black & White stick figure drawings of planes, battleships and tanks in catastrophic all out war, with a heavy emphasis on spectacular explosions!
My formal art training, and introduction to color theory began with Crayola Crayons in Sister Mary Mayola's 5th grade class. By this time I had become a God fearing catholic pacifist, and my oeuvre tended more towards mountains, streams, and weathered barns.
Happy Trees eventually gave way to an interest in Graphic Design which I pursued with a passion at the Cooper School of Art, and the Cleveland Institute of Art, and after many years of Ink, Sweat, and Tears I ended up drawing in bars and breweries! ...Who'da thunk it!
